AB 1897 - Protecting Subcontracted Workers in the New Economy

Our nation’s strongest legislation to address our new economy’s most common “race to the bottom” business model, where the majority of workers are subcontracted, with low pay, little benefits and absolutely no job security. This rule will incentivize the use of responsible contractors and protect vulnerable temporary workers, as well as businesses that follow the law and don’t profit from taking advantage of workers.
