National Security Issue Ignored by My Opponent
You may recall that in a message I sent in September, I referred to the militant Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela that had taken over apartment complexes in Aurora Colorado. While Americans were shocked in 2016 by MS-13 gang members who murdered two high school girls and hacked them into pieces in their Long Island neighborhood, Tren de Aragua is a more deadly organization. They are not a “gang” formed in a barrio. Tren de Aragua is a Venezuelan state-sponsored terrorist organization that has been sent to the US to destabilize our country. As Humire warns, the invasion of Tren de Aragua started when the Biden Administration threw open the border and has now spread to over 15 states so far.
His warning came too late for Laken Riley
On February 22, 2024, Laken Riley, a 22-year-old Augusta University nursing student, was killed while she was jogging at the University of George in Athens, Georgia. In custody awaiting trial for Riley’s murder is Jose’ Antonio Ibarra, a Venezuelan who entered the US illegally and is a member of Tren de Aragua.
Illegal Immigration is Now a National Security Issue!
On March 7, 2024, the House of Representatives passed an immigration bill H.R.7511 - Laken Riley Act, requiring federal detention of migrants who commit burglary or theft. The vote on HR 7511 was 251–170 vote, with 37 Democratic members joining all Republican members in voting for the bill.
Then on May 22, 2024, the House passed H.R.7909 - Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act allowing for deportation of illegal aliens convicted of child abuse or physical or sexual abuse of women. The vote on HR 7909 was 266-158.
Voting “NAY” on both Acts was my Democrat opponent.
Clearly, Zoe is not concerned about National Security or protecting women from violence.
We must CLOSE the border and protect our National Security now. Tren de Aragua is a state-sponsored terrorist organization.
